Memorial Oriol de Bolòs
The Espai Cràter pays tribute to the hundredth anniversary of the birth of Oriol de Bolòs (1924-2007), a scientist and lover of botany who throughout his life was closely linked to the city of Olot. The day will have a format of talks, round tables and a concert with the aim of commemorating the figure of Bolòs, a student of the flora and vegetation of the Catalan lands. The Observatory of Humanities in Medicine of the Olot Hospital, the Natural Park of the Volcanic Zone of La Garrotxa, the University of Barcelona, the Biodiversity Documentation Center of the University of Barcelona and the family of Bolòs collaborate in this activity.
