The Batet plateau and its volcanoes
Don’t miss the interpretive itinerary of the volcanism of the Batet basaltic plateau and its main volcanoes (Pujalós, Garrojàs, Puig de la Garsa and Puigsafont). We propose a route of about 6 km of low difficulty that will begin in the Can Fontana parking lot.
It is advisable to bring water and appropriate footwear and clothing for the weather and activity.

The already consolidated volcanology week extends to the entire month! The Espai Cràter proposes a program of activities that aims to highlight the volcanic landscape of La Garrotxa and promote knowledge about volcanic phenomena, their geological importance, and their impact on our planet.
Throughout the month, various educational and informative activities will be carried out: interactive exhibitions, workshops for all ages, conferences by experts in volcanology and field trips to the most emblematic volcanoes in the region.
