M. (27 years old) lives in France where intersexuality is still addressed as a pathology to be treated and repaired. This part of herself is taboo. To break it, M. writes to Deborah (25 years old), born intersex like her, who is looking for witnesses in this regard for her final research project at the university, where she is studying gender studies. A correspondence begins between them that will completely change their lives.
This documentary reflects on how intersex people seek to reappropriate their own body and build their identity, on what our Western societies are willing to do in the name of social norms and on what it means to be a man, a woman or something of both.
