From October 20th to November 1st, 2025, the first edition of the International Volcanology Course Olot (La Garrotxa) – La Palma will take place.
Led by Dr. Adelina Geyer and Dr. Xavier de Bolós from the Applied Volcanology Team at Geosciences Barcelona (GEO3BCN-CSIC), the course brings together a distinguished group of professionals from prestigious institutions such as CSIC, the University of Barcelona, La Sapienza Università di Roma, the Instituto Geográfico Nacional, and the University of La Laguna.
Over two intensive weeks, participants will receive comprehensive training in volcanology that combines theory, practice, and field trips across two territories with exceptional geology.
