Nikos is a peculiar tailor who lives in the attic of the family tailor’s shop. The situation of the country and his own economic problems put the continuity of the business in danger, especially when the bank decides to seize all his properties and his father falls ill. With a large dose of optimism and with the tailor’s shop behind him – literally – Nikos manages to reinvent himself, spreading style, confidence and dignity to the citizens of the streets of Athens. A social comedy full of skill with a character – halfway between Buster Keaton and Jacques Tatí – who falls in love from the very first scene.

A film selected by Jordi Teis and included in the Olot Textil programme.

Olot Tèxtil
Between April and August, a series of activities will focus on the past, present and future of textiles in Olot. An industrial activity that marked the town’s urban planning and economy, but which today is present in other forms, perhaps more creative or more community-based. We will find heritage and artistic exhibitions in the museums, as well as shows, concerts, itineraries, talks and many other surprises that we will be revealing as we go along.
