Springs are one of the ecosystems most sensitive to climate change and essential to our heritage. Many of us have seen how, in recent years, some springs have dried up, and this has given rise to different emotions. Ecosystems contribute to our well-being. What ecosystem services do springs provide us with? How can we identify and assess them? How can we preserve the health and biodiversity of springs? A diagnosis has been carried out in nine regional springs to assess their state and make their relevance as ecosystem services and biodiversity refuges visible.
