International Course in Volcanology Olot (La Garrotxa) – La Palma
Following the success of the first edition, the second edition of the International Course in Volcanology Olot (La Garrotxa) – La Palma is now announced. This specialized training programme combines theory, practical sessions and field trips in two unique volcanic territories in Europe: the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park and the island of La Palma.
The course will take place from 12 to 24 October 2026 and will once again bring together students, researchers and professionals interested in volcanology in an intensive programme that connects two territories with a strong volcanic identity.
