To coincide with the ninth year of the International Postgraduate Course in Volcanology, Espai Cràter organized the first Volcanology Week in Olot. The event was organized by the Foundation for Advanced Studies and the University of Girona and sought to re-evaluate the volcanic landscape of La Garrotxa.

To encourage the spread of scientific knowledge, international experts at Faberllull participated in the two public talks, the walk through the Natural Park of the Volcanic Zone of La Garrotxa and the eight conferences in schools in the region.

These initiatives, which coincided with the volcanic eruption on the island of La Palma, reached over 800 people. The talks are available for viewing on our YouTube channel.
